With that being said, my name is Jude Newcomb and I have been in and around the Metrix project since 2017. I was always a vocal member of the community, and found the Discord to be a great place to find like-minded individuals in the crypto space that saw the benefits of a society that incorporates digital currency. From those humble beginnings, I helped out the team here and there with various assignments until I really started to devote more time to the project earlier this year.

I am currently the Social Media Manager. I help make sure that a proper, exciting message gets out to the public on a daily basis. This is not the first time that I have served an entity in this role. In the past, I organized social media postings for non-profits. This is just an extension of that same philosophy of generating interest, and to be honest with Metrix this is not difficult to do. We have so many exciting things taking place right now that anyone that took 5 minutes to read this or look at the coin in anyway would be all over it.

I have had an extremely fulfilling time working for the team over the past year, and I look forward to the future.

MyNodePool is a project-run staking pool for users who want the ease of having their coins stake for them on a trusted site. This is one of many applications that Metrix offers to its users. This site is for Metrix, but also hosts a variety of other coins like Shard, Colx, and Rapids.

Thanks for this question. It would be inaccurate to claim that early adopters didn’t sell their coins, but we have taken many steps over the past few months to encourage more and more people to keep their coins as our future is extremely bright. Those of us on the team are incredibly excited about the future, and I think that rubs off on our community and those who investigate the type of project we are. We are a Proof-of-Stake coin, so you can earn passive income on your holdings through staking. Our current ROI was changed to 10% per annum. This was done by community vote a few months ago, and that leads into the next point which is that we find it to be imperative that we look to our community members for direction on how they would like the project to proceed. On the new chain, we will have governor nodes for anyone that holds over 7.5 million MRX. This will allow these holders to vote on upcoming budget proposals regarding the project.

In the end, the key to getting people not to dump their coins is to offer an exciting future. We can’t promise that the price is going to do anything specifically, but what we can do is work harder than any other team of our size in the industry to gain exposure for the coin, become listed on new exchanges, offer incredible use-cases, and implement our community in the majority of these avenues for their feedback and guidance.

Grudge Match Gaming (GMG) is a platform our development team created that we think will be a real game-changer for the crypto industry. Let me first say that one of our main goals at Metrix is to have at least a handful of use cases, and GMG is one of them. The main question we ask ourselves with any of our use cases is, “How can we make this an easy-to-use instrument for as many people as possible to understand and use.” We want to be a leader in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency.

Grudge Match Gaming incorporates us into the ever-growing gaming industry where users of the platform can play their favorite platform and computer games against one another, and wager their MRX while doing so. Not only that, registered users will be able to wager on games that they are watching others play. Many of your favorite games are available, and we currently have dozens of games offered. These include many of the most well-known, recognizable titles of the past few years in the sports, fighting, first-person shooter genres and more!

However, GMG is still in Beta. We are pushing for completion of the project so that it can be unveiled in its entirety to the public as soon as possible. Our community has been instrumental in this Beta process, and we are exploring the best ways to roll out the best version that anyone can use and enjoy.

Let me begin by saying two things. The first is that Metrix (MRX) has its own blockchain. We just began our swap to a QTUM-based chain a couple weeks ago, so we are a stand-alone coin and not a token. The second thing is that MyStakingWallet (MSW) is not a token or a coin, but it is a web-based wallet application available on desktop or mobile. This was one of the first applications that the team at Metrix offered to the public, and it remains one of our most popular offerings. You can check out more details at www.mystakingwallet.com for more details on how it allows the user the ability to stake their coins on the network without needing to have their computer on 24/7.

Metrix Coin is obviously critical to any success we have moving ahead with our use cases. Take for instance our partnership with BA Group and their Cashinow machines. We are implementing Metrix to be available for use at checkout across many different industries as a point-of-sale solution for getting the public to adopt cryptocurrency in an easy way. That’s what we are aiming for.

We will first roll-out this system in Italy where we have casinos, banks, supermarkets, transportation services, post offices, and more! To operate this, we need an efficient coin running on a solid chain where our developers can focus solely on making sure that our mission of providing simple to use products and use cases is realized. We feel that we are accomplishing that goal one day at a time.

Covid-19 has been a burden for all people living on this planet, and we would be lying if we said that it has had no effect on us. However, the effects are only limiting in a couple ways. The integration of MRX into Cashinow machines for our BA Group partnership has been delayed by a few months and we are now looking at a Q1 2021 launch target there. While Covid-19 has been a true menace around the world for how we live our lives on a daily basis, here at Metrix we continue to work hard day and night, rain or shine, pandemic or no pandemic. We will not stop until Metrix is a prominent coin in the cryptocurrency revolution that is set to take over the world.

We are working on a long-term roadmap that we hope to have out with our updated White Paper, but here is a roadmap just for this month. As you can see, we have a ton of things on our to-do list. We aim to finish all of our goals when we say we will, and I think our track record in the past 6–8 months proves that with our new CEO Trent Richards at the helm, there is a dedication of the team that works extremely hard to reach all of our targets. Whether through gaining market exposure to getting new listings or conducting the chain swap with extremely helpful technical support to implementing a use case, Metrix is constantly growing and constantly seeking to improve our place in the industry. Our goal is to be a Top-50 project in the years to come, hopefully sooner.

What is the plan to ensure sufficient liquidity on exchanges to fill market orders, especially as adoption increases and clients begin multiplying year-over-year for your project ?

I think the great thing about our partnership with BA Group and the Cashinow machines provides a built-in solution to this question. Imagine someone going into a supermarket and they get groceries. At checkout, they can choose to purchase at the register in Metrix. This will automatically create a market buy on the exchange the point-of-sale machine is attached to. Consumers will choose this option as it will be attached to incentive programs that the business is promoting to their customers. In the instance of the casino aspect of this partnership, millions of USD are spent playing slot machines. Just a tiny fraction of these users selecting Metrix will boost liquidity immensely. Now imagine supermarkets, banks, post offices, and much more.

This speaks to the previous question, but I wanted to add that we also have our recently announce partnership with Afro Foundation where we are being made available for users to use Metrix to pay for reloading and top-offs of SIM cards. This is an exciting partnership to be involved with as we aim to help people stay connected to one another in an efficent way.

I think the growth seen in the last 6 months has been due to a couple things. For one, we have a new CEO Trent Richards who has come in and really made a huge difference with garnering partnerships and developing our business model. The example that he shows to the rest of the team and community make wanting to spread the message about Metrix Coin a project everyone wants to undertake. I think a lot of people who know about the project are excited about it. Like i said in the beginning, if you take 5 minutes to find out about Metrix, you will understand that it is without a doubt the most undervalued project in cryptocurrency. We aim to change that.

This is the mission statement that we carry forth through all of our work. We want to be a leader in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency. Crypto has to be easy to use. We want grandmothers to be able to use cryptocurrency. Our partnership with BA Group and the Cashinow machines is a great example of this. People will shop with crypto without even needing to know much about what is going on technically. Just tap a button on a screen. That’s what people want. That’s what we plan to deliver.

The simple answer here is that on our old chain, our developers had to spend a lot of time updating and making improvements that took a lot of time away from getting to projects that would help and develop the growth of the project.

We have recently swapped to a new chain based off of QTUM. This has been modified to fit the needs of Metrix moving forward and expanding. The benefits of this are that it fixes the problem of wasted time coding fixes to a chain that is inadequate to our needs and scales us efficiently for future growth into the top-50.
